The History
Built in 1946 by the Holmes Company of Lavender Bay, this timber built vessel has performed many duties in its rich lifetime. The Bundeena spent many years operating as a passenger ferry in the Sydney waterways before travelling to Tasmania due to the collapse of the Tasman Bridge. A further move to Port Arthur consequently saw The Bundeena take a special place in the local history.
