How to find us:

Lavender Bay Wharf is located at the back of Lavender Bay, just along from Luna Park. We advise using public transport, as many of the roads in the vicinity will be closed to traffic. Do check service availability well beforehand by visiting www.transportnsw.info

You may also be able to access the area by taxi and walk the remaining distance.

By train – The most convenient train station is North Sydney. From here it is approximately a ten minute walk to Lavender Bay. Exit the station to Blue Street and walk down the hill approximately 100m. Just before the corner you will see a set of steps along side the Harbourview Hotel. Take these steps, following the path to Walker Street. At the crossroads of Walker St, Lavender Bay Road and Lavender Crescent cross the road and here you will find a long staircase heading down to the wharf area.

By ferry – The closest ferry wharf is Milsons Point Wharf. Depending on the time you arrive the may be many restrictions to pedestrian traffic. The staff on duty can direct you as to the best route to take to the wharf.

The Fine Print:

New Years Eve is an exceptionally busy night as people board the many vessels cruising the Harbour. Actual departure and return times may vary. Please be patient and we’ll endeavor to get you on and off the vessel as close to time as possible.

As part of the Harbour Parade Of Light the Bundeena must be in certain zones at certain times. This will not impact on the enjoyment of the cruise however at times the vessel may be stationary for a short period of time. Kick back and enjoy the view!

The Bundeena is a heritage vessel and whilst we aim for a smooth journey it is a moving vessel on a busy harbour. As such high or stiletto heels are not good for ankles! For your own comfort and safety, lower stable shoes are highly recommended.

It’s a time for celebration and we want you to thoroughly enjoy yourselves! Do note The Bundeena is bound by the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines and reserves the right to refuse service to any person or group of persons deemed sufficiently intoxicated to pose a risk to themselves, other guests or the vessel. In the event that a person or group of persons are required to leave the vessel the closet practical drop off location will be chosen, which may be some distance from the departure point.
